Fausti delivered an outstanding performance at the IX San Vicente del Raspeig International Easter Open 2025 (held from April 16 to 21) in Alicante. He finished in 19th place among more than 500 participants, scoring 6.5 points out of 9 and achieving a performance rating of 2515, which allowed him to gain 12.5 FIDE Elo points. He faced high-level opponents, including several Grandmasters (GM) and International Masters (IM). His draws came against: Round 4: GM Vasyl Ivanchuk (UKR, 2604), Round 5: GM Eduardo Iturrizaga Bonelli (ESP, 2585), and Round 6: GM Abhimanyu Puranik (IND, 2636), highlighting his growing ability to compete at the highest level.
