At the end of June 2025, Fausti, at just 11 years old, participated in the FIDE World Rapid and Blitz Team Championship in London, representing the “Turkish Airlines Sports Club” team. The event brought together 52 international teams and was held from June 10 to 16. The team, composed mainly of young talents, delivered strong performances in both formats: -Rapid: In the rapid event, the team achieved significant victories, including an impressive 5–1 win against UK Chess Challenge Masters in the third round. -Blitz: In the blitz event, the team faced elite squads such as WR Chess and Hexamind. Although they did not advance to the final stages, their performance was praised for its courage and tactical skill. Throughout the tournament, Fausti had the opportunity to face top-level opponents, including Levon Aronian and David Navara, demonstrating his skill and determination in every game. One of the highlights was his victory over Indian Grandmaster Nihal Sarin, who held a 2676 Elo rating.
