His performance was remarkable, as he was the only player to defeat the tournament champion, Grandmaster Miguel Santos, during the competition. -Rapid Chess (15+5): The following day, in the rapid tournament played with 15 minutes plus a 5-second increment per move, Fausti finished in ninth place. He displayed an outstanding level of play, establishing himself as the best Under-18 player in the event.
