At the 100th Argentine Championship, held at Casa de la Ciudad in Parque Patricios, Buenos Aires, from November 25 to December 5, Fausti delivered a consistent performance against some of the country’s strongest players. Throughout the tournament, he scored key points against titled opponents, combining important victories with several draws that kept him among the leaders for multiple rounds. In the final stretch, a few hard-fought draws and a loss prevented him from contending for the title, but he still closed the championship in fifth place with 6.5 points out of 11.
